Welcome to The Spicy Biker, a unique culinary gem nestled in the heart of Wakefield at 16 Cross St, WF1 3BW, United Kingdom. Founded in 2016 by a passionate husband and wife duo, The Spicy Biker began its journey as a lively mobile pop-up kitchen, captivating the taste buds of food enthusiasts at various festivals and markets. Today, we are thrilled to celebrate the launch of their very first restaurant, opening its doors in November 2023.
The Spicy Biker is not just about serving food; it's about crafting an experience steeped in authenticity and warmth. Drawing inspiration from "mum’s kitchen," the menu offers a delightful array of Indian dishes that have been expertly reimagined with a signature Spicy Biker twist. The vibrant flavors and mouthwatering aromas transport you straight to the heart of India, making every bite a memorable experience.
As a food enthusiast, I was particularly enamored with the offerings here. Guests rave about the fresh poppadoms accompanied by a trio of delicate dips, setting the stage for the meal ahead. The onion bhaji and chaat bombs are simply irresistible—they are not just dishes, but a celebration of texture and flavor that demands to be shared.
The mains are equally impressive. One cannot go wrong with the Paneer Butter Masala or the Butter Chicken, both served with fluffy garlic naan and fragrant basmati rice. Each dish is a testament to the care and attention given by the chefs, ensuring that the flavors are as vibrant as the ambiance of the restaurant itself. Additionally, the bottomless brunch offers a lavish Thali, complete with curries, rice, and sides that promise an indulgent experience worth savoring.
Customer reviews, like those from Ben H and Kat E, echo the sentiment that The Spicy Biker excels in both food and service. With friendly and attentive staff, guests feel welcomed and valued, making it a great spot for families and friends alike. The restaurant also boasts pram-friendly spaces, catering not just to adults but to diners of all ages.
Now, if you're seeking a top-notch takeaway experience, The Spicy Biker has got you covered with options for collection and delivery via UberEats, ensuring that delicious flavors can accompany you at home as well.
In essence, The Spicy Biker is more than just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Indian cuisine in a welcoming setting. As I exited, I couldn't help but feel excited about my next visit. Whether you’re a fan of classic dishes or looking to explore bold flavors, The Spicy Biker promises an unforgettable journey for your palate.

Our first visit to The Spicy Biker and it didn't disappoint. We ordered some fresh poppadoms with a trio of dips. This was followed by an onion bhaji and chaat bombs. Both are a must have and were delicious! For the mains we had Paneer Butter Masala and Butter Chicken with garlic naan and rice. Food was delicious and our server Loz was very friendly. A great family run business and we'll definitely be back again

The food was fantastic. I love battered cauliflower and fish curry. Great flavours and light. Very friendly and attentive service. We will be back.

A great lunchtime treat with plenty of pram space too! The sharing platter is delicious and can change to vegetarian only if needed. We will be back to try the curries! Thank you!

Established in 2016 by husband & wife duo, The Spicy Biker has come from being a mobile pop-up kitchen, that you will see at various food festivals & markets, to opening up their very first restaurant in Nov ’23, based in Wakefield city centre. Serving authentic Indian food from “mum’s kitchen” that’s been given a Spicy Biker twist. I first discovered the delights of the Spicy Biker a few years ago at one of their popups at Suppa Club, Elsecar. In Nov ’23, they opened their very first restaurant in Wakefield City Centre, and myself and 3 of my foodie friends booked a bottomless brunch last October. It was fantastic! For just 35 (As of 1st March 2025, this will change to 40pp) you get a Thali including two curries (I went with the Chicken and the Lentil curries), basmati rice, naan bread, onion bhajis and an extra side of your choice (I went with meat samosas). Not forgetting the drinks, which are bottomless for 90 mins and include Prosecco, house wine, bottles of cobra and various cocktails, pitchers, and alcohol free options. The food was exquisite, and the chef personally brought out an extra curry for us all to share and try (lamb rogan josh), which was so tasty. You get PLENTY of food, but I didn’t find it over-facing. Maybe I am greedy haha! But if it’s a little too much, you can take the rest away. The meal is all presented beautifully, which adds to the experience and we managed about 4/5 drinks each, so a good effort (we had a lot to talk about haha). The bhajis are massive, crisp and freshly made which is fantastic. Indian Food and bottomless drinks HAS to be my all time favourite! The restaurant has other drinks and meals on offer too of course Spend: 35pp – Bottomless availability subject to change but was every Fri & Sat 12pm – 4pm Open Hours:Wed & Thurs 4pm-10pm, Fri & Sat 12pm-10pm, Sun 4pm-8pm Takeaway/Delivery: Collection and UberEats

Best fish pakora I've ever had. It melted in the mouth. Recommend the bhajis too. It was all truly excellent!

Booked a table to celebrate my granddaughters 21st birthday, Spicy Biker you did not disappoint, we were made to feel so welcome, the food was gorgeous, we had to try the bhaji, )delicious,) and the butter chicken was outstanding, so comforting and tasty, it's so nice when the owner take the time out to chat with you. We had a fantastic time and we'll definitely visit again.Thank You..
